January 9 – 11, 2009. A sandwich from Primanti Bros is worth the four hour trip from DC to Pittsburgh. Two slices of bread. Corn beef. A pile of vinegar-based coleslaw. A few slivers of tomato. And a side order of fries placed directly onto the sandwich. Hot sauce and ketchup to top it off. Pure Awesomeness in edible form served up in a hole-in-the wall type of joint in the South Side. Customers came and went, saying 'Go Steelers' in place of greetings and goodbyes. Several weeks later, the Steelers ended up winning the Superbowl.The added bonus was that we got to hangout with Nick, Mark and Kyle the entire weekend. Football. Stories. Slush. And awesome beer that Mark brewed.
